Lambuth went to the dressing room at halftime Saturday trailing West Alabama 35-25. The second half was a different matter. The Lady Eagles outscored UWA 36-13 in the second stanza and won 61-48.
 
It was Lambuth's fourth straight win. Lambuth has won six of their last seven games to move to 12-7 on the season.
 
Lambuth held UWA to just 18% from the field in the second half. The Lady Eagles shot 54 % from the field to overcome the 10 point deficit.
 
La Tonya McKinney led Lambuth with 27 points. She also had ten rebounds and three steals. It is the second time this season Lambuth has held an opponent to under 50 points in a game. They held Fisk University to 46 points on January 9. Lambuth is 5-0 against Gulf South Conference teams this season.
 
Lambuth travels to Hiwassee College Tuesday night. Tip-off is at 5 p.m.
