Lambuth Seniors
It is always hard to see some of your favorite players leave. That is the nature of college athletics. Seniors move on to the next phase of their lives.

Seven seniors played their last game for  Lambuth Wednesday night. All of them played well this past year and will leave fans with fond memories of a season that was filled with it's share of ups and downs.

I must admit, two of those seniors were and remain personal favorites. It is not only because they were the two remaining holdovers from the 2007 National Championship squad, but because of the kind of people they are. I will admit that all other squads will be measured by that team but how do you measure the heart of a Tara Robinson and Kristin Brison?

Tara and Kristin are the only student-athletes in school history to appear in four straight national tournaments. I think its safe to say that the program would probably not have appeared in four straight tournaments without them. They brought not only talent to the four different squads they were apart of, but they brought leadership and character to those teams as well. Both  would tell you they were probably not the most talented players on those teams but they were in the minds of many just as valuable as most.

Whether it be the Australian accent of " Boom" or the Southern accent of the "Fairview Flash", it will  be a void for the next several years in the Lambuth women's basketball program.
