Lambuth's Golf team shot an opening round 304 and is just one shot back of the lead in the Trevecca Invitational at Old Hickory Golf Club in Nashville.
 
The 51st ranked Eagles are tied with with 53rd ranked Cumberland, and 73rd ranked Trevecca. Bethel shot a 303 and leads the tournament going into the final round.
 
Aaron Ingalls led the Lambuth effort and is tied for 3rd individually with a 74.
 
Scott Metcalf shot a 76 while Eddy Whitaker and Heath Lay shot 77.
