The Lambuth Lady Eagles snapped a 15 game losing streak Wednesday afternoon with an impressive doubleheader sweep of Rust College.
Lambuth won game one 8-0 and then took game two 17-2 in three innings.
Kristin Rast had a home run and two RBI's in game one while Molly Wright went deep and had two RBI's in the 8-0 win. Kara Sykes had a double and a RBI as well.
In game two Rast had a grand slam and five RBI's. Whitney King was 2-for-2 on the day while Linda Potter had a big hit in the 17-2 three-inning win.
The Lady Eagles moved to 5-16 on the season and will travel to Fisk University Saturday for a doubleheader. Game one begins at 1 p.m.
