Lambuth golfers  shaved  16 strokes  off their first round score with a 301 team total Tuesday afternoon and finished in a tie for 12th with Mobile University in the North Alabama Spring Creek Classic.

There were twenty teams competing in the classic. Lambuth led all NAIA teams entered except Lindenwood.

Scott Metcalf led Lambuth with a 78, 72, for a two day total of 150 and finished in a tie for 14th.

The host school won the event.
