The Lambuth Lady Eagles continued their hot play sweeping Rust College Tuesday afternoon in Holly Springs. Lambuth outscored Rust 40-3 in the doubleheader. The Lady Eagles won 20-3 and 20-0 to win their ninth of their last ten games.
Kendra McCray had an inside the park home run and finished with four RBI's. Linda Potter was 2-for-four and had two RBI's.

In game two Potter had two more hits. The big story in game two was Tai Meadows. She pitched a no-hitter with six strikeouts in the first two innings. She helped her own cause with three hits and two RBI's.

With the sweep the Lady Eagles improved to 12-17 on the year.

Lambuth travels to Martin Methodist Thursday to meet the ninth ranked RedHawks.
