Jackson, TN - Lambuth hosted NCAA Division I Tennessee Martin Monday. The Lady Eagles were unable to match the physical play of UTM and lost 7-1.

The Lady Eagles were able to keep UTM at bay for most of the first half but UTM would lead 3-0 at the break. UTM did not waste much time as they scored early in the restart to take a commanding lead.

The Lady Eagles would get on the board as LesleyAnn Thorpe caught the GK out of position and hit a 30yard shot that nestled in the top corner, for her fourth goal of the season.

UTM strolled down the other end and scored 13 seconds after the Lambuth goal. UTM would add another before the end of the game to make the final score 7-1.

The Lady Eagles travel to #7 Martin Methodist on Wednesday .
