The Lady Eagles traveled tp play NCAA DI Austin Peay on Tuesday, October 9th in Clarksville, TN. It was ideal conditions for soccer as the heat finally started to dissipate close to game time. Lambuth fell behind early which has been a trend for this squad.
With the score 1-0 in favor of APSU the Lady Eagles settled down and hung with the Lady Govs until the last minute of the half when APSU scored again to lead at the break 2-0.
The second half was more of the same as APSU pulled away and won 5-0.
Junior GK, Connie Hanson had seven saves in the first half while junior GK, Alicia McPherson had three saves in the second half.
The Lady Eagles will host NCAA D.II Christian Brothers University on Thursday, October 11th at 3p.m.
