Jackson, TN—Two Lady Eagle softball players have been named to the TranSouth All-Conference Second Team.

Senior outfielder, Kylene Etzel and junior pitcher, Wendi Makus were named to the team this week.

Etzel is from Topeka, Kansas while Makus is from Forest Grove, Oregon.

Lambuth’s season ended this week with a tough loss to Freed-Hardeman in the conference tournament. Lambuth had beaten Mid-Continent and Crichton earlier in the tournament but could not hold on to an early lead, losing 3-2 to the Lady Lions.

Lambuth ended the year at 14-32.
