The Lambuth University Cross Country squads enjoyed success in the Lambuth University Cross Country Meet held at Pinson Mounds State Park on Thursday, October 11, 2007. Overall, Lambuth runners did quite well at the meet. Lambuth men and women each placed within the top three spots of the individual top five for their respective races.  Anna Engles of Lambuth placed 2nd in the individual top five of the women's race with a time of 19:35. Other Lambuth women runners included Kayla Pugh, finishing 8th, and Jasmine Fleori who finished 15th.

Andrew Bonnell finished 3rd in the individual top five on the men's side with a time of 29:21 Other Lambuth runners participating in the race included Thayne Wright, who finished just outside the top five with a 6th place finish. Ben Hanna took 8th while Timothy Vowell took 11th and Nathan McKellips finished 12th.

The Lambuth men took 1st place overall in the men's competetion.

Coach Jimmy Carmichael said, " I am really pleased with our individual and team efforts. I'm proud of all of runners. They will continue to improve and I am excited about our future."
