The Lambuth women's soccer season came to a close this week with a 3-1 loss to Lyon College in the first round of the TranSouth Conference tournament. The Lady Eagles were on the road for the second time in three days.

Leading up to the tournament the Lady Eagles had split their last four games of the regular season.

They had lost to CBU and Lyon but had wins over Freed-Hardeman and Crichton.
In the two wins, the Lady Eagles enjoyed their second win over Freed  during the season  and celebrated the win over Crichton by honoring the lone senior on the team , Lauren Wagner.

In the tournament game against Lyon, Jessie Metcalf scored the  only goal of the contest for Lambuth.

The loss ended the season for the Lady Eagles with a record of 5-10 and  a fifth place finish in the TranSouth standings.
