Nashville, TN - Coach Paul Conway of Lambuth University was named the TranSouth Conference Coach of the Year Monday. Conway led his Eagle squad to the  regular season conference championship. The Eagles were eliminated in the conference tourney semi-finals but will advance to region play later this week as a result of being the league champs during the season. It is only the second time in the history of the program to win the  regular season championship.

Meanwhile, five Eagles were named to the TranSouth All-Conference Squad. Brenton Saylor, Ross Hayman, Rory O'Conner, J W Hunt and Wade Wadsworth, all were named to the first team.

Four players earned the Scholar-Athlete award. Paul Pinter, Josh  High, Ross Hayman and  Brenton Saylor represent Lambuth on that list.
