Former Lambuth running back Allen Ervin  was thrilled to play in the Texas vs. the Nation college all-star game Saturday in El Paso Texas.

He made the best of the opportunity as Ervin led the Nation in team rushing. He carried the ball seven times for 36 yards.

Pro scounts were in abundance at the contest.Ervin hopes to hear from several pro teams with a chance to play at the next level. Since 1993 when Coach Vic Wallace took over as head coach, Lambuth has almost three dozen players who have received pro opportunities.

Ervin was an All-American this past season and led the nation in all-purpose yards.
