Jackson, TN - The Lambuth Lady Eagles won their eighth in a row Saturday afternoon at the Athletic Center with a convincing 85-70 victory over Bethel. Lambuth never trailed in the contest. Just eight minutes into the game Lambuth led by ten. The lead held up as the Lady Eagles extended the margin to 44-31 at the half. Lambuth is 16-2 when leading at the break. 
 
Three Lady Eagles finished in double figures with CT Kintchen leading the scoring with 19 points. Kintchen grabbed six rebounds and had four assists.
 
Yolanda Johnson had 17 points while Kristin Brison had 10 points and six rebounds. Donna Lavea returned to form with 13 points in just 13 minutes of action.
 
After being out rebounded in the earlier game against Bethel, the Lady Eagles had a 37-31 advantage on the boards Saturday. Lambuth is 11-3 when they out rebound their opponents.
 
Lambuth is now 17-7 overall and 9-3 in conference.
 
The No 16  Lady Eagles return to action Monday as they host No 18 Trevecca. Tip-off is slated for 6pm.  
 
Trevecca beat Lyon Saturday in Nashville 77-70. The Lady Trojans are 13-8 overall and 7-4 in the conference.
 
Trevecca beat Lambuth earlier this season 78-66. Kristin Archie scored 29 points while Mariska Reed had 19. Jennifer Bognar had 10 points and grabbed 17 rebounds.CT Kintchen scored 16 points while Donna Lavea had 14 for Lambuth.
