The Swimming Eagles are competing along with ten other schools for the title of Appalachian Swimming and Diving Conference Champions. This meet is the last chance for these athletes to qualify for those last few events before the Nationals.
The Appalachian Swimming and Diving Conference was newly formed this year. The meet started today and will run two more sessions tomorrow.
The teams competing are Asbury, Berea College, Brenau University, King College, LaGrange, Lambuth University, Mars Hill College, Milligan, Notre Dame College, and Warren Wilson College.
Kimberly Bridgman is the Lambuth University Spotlighted Swimmer of the session today. She chopped off another 20 seconds from her 500 yard Freestyle today. Congratulations Kimberly!
