Mayfield, KY - There was a time in the game Thursday night that Mid-Continent fans probably wished Coach Winston Bennett coild have suited up and played again. Bennet was a standout at the University of Kentucky back in the 80's. Lambuth was intense from the opening tip and took a 32-16 lead and put the game away early. Th 107-75 win avenged a loss to the Cougars back in January.

Six Eagles scored in double figures with three players scoring 15 points each. Corey Webster, Jeremy Weddle and Steve Gray all led the attack.

Lambuth forced the Cougars into 25 turnovers as they won their tenth straight game. The Eagles are 22-2 when opponents have more turnovers than the Eagles in a game.Lambuth improves to 24-3 and 16-2 in conference action. The  # 5 Eagles have scored 100 points or more seven times this season. They are 7-0 when scoring 100 points or more in a game.

The Eagles remain in first place in the conference and will be off until Thursday when they travel to Martin Methodist to meet the RedHawks. MMC is in second place in the conference standings one game behind Lambuth.
