The TranSouth Athletic Conference released the 2007-2008 women's basketball all-conference team and post season awards.

Dee Preyer, a 5'8 senior from Memphis Central High School was named to the First Team Squad.

Preyer is averaging 14.4 points per game and four rebounds per contest. She shoots 44 % from the field and 39 % from behind the three-point line. She shoots 80% from the free throw stripe.

Preyer has helped lead the Lady Eagles to a 22-8 mark overall and 14-4 record in the TranSouth Conference. Lambuth opens up conference tournament action Wednesday night at home against Lyon College.

Coach Joe Reints commented, " Dee has had a great year. She is so coachable. After our success last year it would have been easy for her to rest on her laurels but she has answered the challenge of leadership on and off the court."

C. T. Kintchen was named to the All TranSouth Second Team.
