Franklin, TN - Michael Mason of Centennial High School in Williamson County signed a golf scholarship with Lambuth University Monday. Michael played number one for the last three years at the school.

During the 2007 golf season he shot 75 in the Williamson County Invitational finishing third.

He tied for sixth after shooting 75 at the Bruin Invitational held at Old Natchez County Club. He followed those rounds with a 72 at the District Tournament.

Lambuth Golf Coach Andy Farmer commented, “We are really excited about Michael's decision to attend Lambuth. He is not only an outstanding golfer but comes from a great family and is an outstanding student.”
