The Lambuth Lady Eagles traveled to Freed-Hardeman Friday night and were beaten soundly by the Lady Lions 76-45. Lambuth was as cold as the snowy conditions outside shooting only 24 percent from the field.
 
 
 
 
Freed-Hardeman led at halftime 45-24 and in a low scoring second half otscored the Lady Eagles 31-21 and cruised to the big win. Tara Deatheridge led FHU in scoring with 24 points. Lambuth was led by C.T. Kintchen and Donna Lavea with 11 points each. The 45 points is the lowest point total for Lambuth in any one single game this season.
 
The good news for the Lady Eagles is that the season is not over. Lambuth's next game will be in the NAIA National Tournament, beginning March 19 at Oman Arena. The Lady Eagles are the defending National Champions. Tournament seedings and pairings will be announced Wednesday afternoon. Lambuth will host a tournament pairings party in the Hall of Fame Center Wednesday night at 6p.m. All Lambuth fans are invited to attend.
