Lambuth Softball Coach Shannon Tanner announced the signing of two West Tennessee standouts Tuesday.

Stephanie Johnson, a catcher from Dyersburg High School and Autumn King, a shortstop from  McNairy Central High School in Selmer , TN are the latest  to sign with the Lambuth Lady Eagles.

Stephanie Johnson has been an All-District performer every year for the Lady Trojans. She has been a member of the National Honor Society every year at Dyersburg High.

Coach Tanner commented, " Stephanie is a catcher, but is athletic enough to play anywhere. She also swings a mean stick, she has great contact skills and has great power."

Autumn King was  All-District performer in 2007. She is a member of of the National Honor Society.

Coach Tanner added, " Autumn makes great contact at the plate, with just a little power mixed in for good measure. She can literally play anywhere on the field except  pitcher. I anticipate her playing shortstop or in the outfield."
