Jackson, TN - Week number three of the region top six has the Lambuth Eagles ranked number four. The Eagles moved up one spot from last week after posting a weekly record of 3-1. The top three teams stayed the same with Trevecca ranked first, University of the Cumberlands second and Freed-Hardeman third. Rounding out the top six was Maritn Methodist in fifth and Lyon College in sixth.
 
This past week Lambuth beat previousily sixth ranked Lindsey Wilson 10-3. In the weekend conference series against Bethel, the Eagles lost the first game 16-7, but rebounded to beat the Wildcats twice on Saturday by a score of 8-2.
 
The Eagles squad will hit the road for the next couple of weeks. Lambuth will take on Harris Stowe State on Wednesday in Saint Louis and then will travel to Lebanon, TN to face Cumberland University in week number five of the TranSouth Conference. The Eagles will start the week with a 18-11 overall record and 6-3 record in conference play. The 6-3 record is good for third place, a game and a half behind Trevecca.
