Lambuth golfer Leslie Garside has been one of the best golfers in the entire South this season.Leslie continued her fine play with a another victory. as she won the Union Springs Classic at Bear Trace at Ross Creek Landing in Clifton, Tn.
Garside shot 78-83 under windy conditions on both days. Wind gusts with gusts up to 30 mph played havoc with all of the golfers.
Coach Andy Farmer commented, " Leslie is playing so well. She battled the conditions and fought her way to another victory against some stiff competition. Her play has been a joy to watch. The sky is the limit for her and she is looking forward to upcoming tournaments, especially the conference tourney."
