Leslie Garside won the Martin Methodist Invitational held at Henry Horton State  Park on March 30- April 1st. Leslie shot 81-77 for a two day total of 158, defeating last year's conference champion, Betsey Beaver by 25 strokes. 

Conditions were extremely wet as the course received over three inches of rain during the two days of the tournament.

Coach Andy Farmer commented on Leslie's play, " Leslie hit the ball great on both days of the tournament. On the second day she hit 15 of 18 greens in regulation and 13 of 14 fairways. We are looking forward to the conference tournament being held at the Hermitage Golf Club in Nashville, April 13-15. "
