Jackson, TN – The Lambuth Baseball team had an impressive week going 4-0 with a win against Division I opponent Belmont University and a TranSouth Conference sweep of Crichton College. The week propelled Lambuth to an overall record of 25-15 and 11-6 in the TranSouth Conference. The Eagles are currently tied for second in the conference with Freed-Hardeman University. The two will square off this weekend in Henderson, TN.

 

The University of the Cumberlands topped the weekly poll and is currently ranked 6th in the nation. The next four spots belong to TranSouth schools as the 16th ranked Trevecca Trojans are second with Freed and Lambuth following. Bethel wraps up the TranSouth schools in fifth place and Georgetown is sixth is this weeks poll.
