Jackson, TN – The Lambuth Baseball team had an impressive week going 4-0 with a win against Division I opponent Belmont University and a TranSouth Conference sweep of Crichton College. The week propelled Lambuth to an overall record of 25-15 and 11-6 in the TranSouth Conference. The Eagles are currently tied for second in the conference with Freed-Hardeman University. The two will square off this weekend in Henderson, TN.

The University of the Cumberlands topped the weekly poll and is currently ranked 6^th in the nation. The next four spots belong to TranSouth schools as the 16^th ranked Trevecca Trojans are second with Freed and Lambuth following. Bethel wraps up the TranSouth schools in fifth place and Georgetown is sixth is this weeks poll.
