Lambuth Softball Coach Shannon Tanner has announced the signing of Jackson South Side standout, Cassisdy Matthews.

 Cassidy is a catcher and outfielder for the Lady Hawks.



Matthews has been named the most athletic female in this year's South Side Senior Class  Who's  Who. She is the recipient of the Lady Hawk award.

The All-District performer has a batting average of .334 on the year.

She is an honor student with a GPA of 3.24. Matthews is a member of the South Side Beta Club.

Coach Shannon Tanner commented on the signing, " We are really happy Cassisdy has signed with our program. She is a fine hitter who can play several positions. She is a wonderful student in the classroom. She is a great fit for our program."
