Legendary football coach, Art Kehoe, recently visited Lambuth University as a guest of Head Football Coach Hugh Freeze.

Kehoe worked with the Eagle offensive line and visited with the Eagle coaching staff sharing his knowledge of the game.


Kehoe was a longtime assistant coach with the  University of Miami. He coached there twenty- seven  years and during that time the Hurricanes won five national titles. They played in eleven national title games. The past two seasons he was an assistant coach with Ole Miss.

Coach Hugh Freeze was delighted Kehoe was able to visit, "Art is a good friend who I coached with at Ole Miss. He is a master of the trade,"  he added. " It is  a blessing to have him for staff development and to work with our kids."

Coach Kehoe spoke of his visit to Lambuth, " It is my first chance to visit this beautiful campus. Hugh is an excellent coach and person, and I am excited for him and the school. He is a great teacher who will get the most out of his players and coaching staff. I really like the staff he has put together and I expect big things for the program."
