Although neither Jeremy Weddle nor Glen Dandrigde made the 2008 College Basketball Invitational all-star game, both represented Lambuth well in the College Basketball Invitational Tournament in Wadsworth, Ohio.
Weddle and Dandridge were two of the 64 players from all of the National Collegiate Athletic Association(NCAA) Division II and Division III and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics(NAIA) Division I and Division II invited to participate in the event.
Both Lambuth players had their shining moments. Dandridge averaged almost 10 points per game for the City of Wadsworth squad. Weddle averaged almost 11 points per game for his squad, First Merit. Weddle had seven steals in one contest. His squad won the tournament with a 3-0 record.
Both players are still working to earn their degrees from Lambuth and are also looking at several pro basketball options.
