TheTranSouth Conference released the 2008 post -season baseball awards recently and eleven members of the Lambuth baseball program received honors.

Coach John Barlowe was named the Coach of the Year. Barlowe led the Eagles to the regional tournament for the first time since 2005. Named to the First Team All-Conference squad was Brent Ebinger. Brent finished the regular  season with a 10-2 mark and a 3.09 ERA.


Four players were named to the Second Team All-Conference squad. First baseman, Mike Davis, shortstop, Brandon Craig, outfielder Bryan Willsey and pitcher, Tony Perez all made the squad.

Chris Siljendahl was named to the Gold Glove Team as an outfielder.

Four Eagles made the Scholar Athlete Team. Ryan Concannon, Travis Humes, Erin Keel and Matt Riley made the squad.
