The Lambuth Football Eagles signed Jeff Link from Memphis White Station High School Friday. The three-year starter at quarterback compiled a 30-4 record with the Spartans. 

The 6'1 170 quarterback passed for a career 5,597 yards  and 68 touchdowns while rushing for 6 TD's.

Jeff  was an outstanding punter for the Spartans as well.

He was a Tennessee Mr. Football 5A  Offensive Finalist his senior year. Link was named to the TSWA All-State 5A First Team. He was the Memphis Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) Football Player of the Year in 2007. He also led the Spartans to the Region 8 5A Championship and State Quarterfinals.

Coach Hugh Freeze commented on Link signing with the Eagles. " We are so happy to sign Jeff. He is a natural leader. He is a passionate player who has ability and we look forward to him being a big part of our program."
