The 1st Annual Hugh Freeze Football Camp was not only a huge success with the many campers who attended but the parents of the campers loved the week as well.

As closing ceremonies took place this week for the Hugh Freeze Football Camp, it was hard to decide who had the most fun, the coaches or the campers.

Each camper was given a profile of their performance and saluted in the ceremonies.

Cory Hill, considered by most as the greatest quarterback in Eagle history was delighted with his son (Rob) being a part of the camp. Hill commented on the camp. "Rob has a low key attitude but he opened up this week. He has been excited each morning and I credit Coach Freeze and his staff with that. It has been great to see my son play on the field ( LL  Fonville Field ) I love."

Cedric Hampton Jr., the son of football coach, Cedric Hampton, attended the camp. He commented on his son's participation. " Cedric learned football fundamentals and quarterback fundamentals. The agility drills were great. He was taught how important a great attitude is and I was impressed with the character skills that were stressed."

Coach Freeze added, " It was a great week. These young people were a joy to work with. They worked hard but also had a lot of fun. The parents were super. This is my first football camp at Lambuth and will be one I remember for a lifetime. We pride ourselves in teaching football but even more we stress being a good person."
