Three New Cross Country Student Athletes
Three New Cross Country Student Athletes
Coach Jimmy Carmichael was excited Friday and well he should be. Three outstanding runners made it official by signing with the Lambuth Cross Country squad.
Jordan Hobbs from Bartlett, TN, was a member of the Bolton High School squad which finished as the State Runner-up in 05. Hobbs was captain of the team in 07 & 08. Jordan was also a  member of the school's soccer squad.

Casey Burks of Morris Chapel, TN was a member of the Hardin County High School squad. Burks was the team MVP in 07. He finished seventh in the Best of the West.

Deanna Dippold from Thebes, IL also signed with the Eagles. She attended Saxony Lutheran High School. She was a four time All-District State qualifier.Deanna was also named as a National Scholar/ Athlete by the U.S. Army Reserve. While in high school she was a member of the track team,swimming squad, and played basketball.

Coach Carmichael commented on the big day for Lambuth. " We are so excited about these student-athletes. They are all great runners but also great students. They all come from good programs and great families. I look forward to working with all of them."
