Coach Bubbles Lee
One of the more popular student-athletes in the history of Lambuth University has been named the new volleyball coach at Lambuth.
Valena Lee, better known to Lambuth fans as, " Bubbles", is coming back to lead the Lady Eagles.
Lee is a 2007 Lambuth graduate. She played volleyball and softball and received All-Conference and All-Region honors in both sports. She was named Conference Player of the Year in softball in 2005.
Lee served as assistant volleyball coach at Lambuth for two years.
Lambuth's Director of Athletics, Ken Brown commented on the new coach." We are excited a former student-athlete is our new coach. She knows the program after serving as an assistant and will do a super job. We love her enthusiasm and look forward to her leading our program."
Coach Lee is excited about the new position, " I am so excited about this opportunity. I love Lambuth and I know we can be successful. It is an exciting time and I feel fortunate to be a part of the athletic department."
Lee will also serve as an assistant coach with softball.
