Coach Steve Hookfin-Coach Hugh Freeze-Bryson Lewis

Bryson Lewis, a 6'1 190 defensive back  is transferring from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Lewis played high school  football at Jackson Central Merry. Lewis is the brother of Liberty High School Coach, Steve Hookfin.

Lewis played in the Tennessee vs. Kentucky All-Star  game.


Coach Hugh Freeze commented on signing a local athlete." We are very excited about signing Bryson. He is another  talented local product with family ties here in Jackson. We feel he can have an immediate impact on our program."

Three other newcomers signed with the Eagles last week.

Austin Harrison, a 5'10 205 running back from Franklin, TN played at CPA High School.

Jonathan Blakemore, a 5'10 210 linebacker from Jackson, MS played at Veritas Academy.

Rashawn Pryor, a 6'0 260 defensive lineman  from Duluth, GA played at North Gwinnett High School.

Lambuth opens the 08 season on August, 28 at Murray State University.
