Jackson, TN—Lambuth University tennis coach James Parker is pleased to announce the signing of another local product from the city of Jackson.
Ben Walker who prepped at Trinity Christian Academy will join the Eagles for the upcoming season.
Walker had been the number one player at TCA since he was an eighth grader. Three years ago Ben led the Lions to the state tournament. The squad lost to the eventual state champs in the semi-finals. TCA won the District and Regional tennis titles that same year.
Walker becomes the third player from the city of Jackson to sign with the Eagles and the fourth from West Tennessee.
Coach Parker said, “ Ben is a hard worker who has always had a goal to play in college. He is another local product who we feel great about. He had a great career at TCA and knows what it takes to win.”
Ben is the son of Buddy and Marla Walker of Jackson.
