There have been a lot of proud days for Coach Jack Peel of Lambuth. It may be there have been no days better for the Lambuth Softball Coach than Monday at Liberty High School in Jackson.

Shelby Peel, the daughter of Coach Peel inked with the Lady Eagles Monday.

The  standout utility player played for Coach Jeremiah Cavitt at Liberty Tech.

Shelby was the Liberty female student Athlete of the Year at the recent Jackson- Madison
County Sports Hall-of-Fame. Shelby is a member of the Who's Who and a   Principal Roll scholarship winner at Liberty. 

Coach Peel commented on the proud day for his program and his family. " Shelby brings a lot of intangibles to the table. She really loves the game and can play just about anywhere. I am really proud she has chosen Lambuth to continue her education."
