Coach Thauer, an ASCA certified swim coach, has been teachng swimming off and on since 1975, and coaching swim team since 1997.  She started her coaching career as an assistant coach for an Age Group Team called the Nashua Prospectors in Nashua, NH.  Since then she has coached under excellent coaches and taken numerous coaching seminars.  In 2001 Coach Thauer became the Head Coach of the Nashua Prospectors before moving to Jackson, TN where she started an Age Group Team for the Jackson Family YMCA in January of 2002.

     This is Coach Thauer's 2nd season at Lambuth and she is looking forward to an awesome season!  The team size has doubled and the swimmers are already making cut times and gearing up do do well at the NAIA National Championship meet the last week of February.
