Shannon Tanner - Head Coach
 
Coach Shannon Tanner was named the Head Softball Coach at Lambuth University by former Dir. of Intercollegiate Athletics Don Shaver in the summer of 2006.
 
Coach Tanner, originally of Granby, Missouri, received her Bachelors of Physical Education and Masters of Physical Education from Northwest Missouri State University in 1994 and 1996 respectively. Prior to coming to Lambuth, Tanner has served as Head Softball Coach at Allen County Community College since 2002. She also had an outstanding three season run at NCAA Division II school Western Oregon University. Her first head-coaching job was at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama where she served from 1996 until 1999.
 

Tanner, who stresses that her teams will be fundamentally sound, is excited about her time at Lambuth. “Lambuth is a great place for me to be; I know Lambuth is seeking success, and that’s what I want, while also helping young ladies be successful in life.”
