Alissa Moeckel, a senior Graphic Design Major, enjoys hunting and she also likes to fish, but is usually not very successful. In the summer she spends her spare time boating, tubing, riding four-wheelers, and playing sand volleyball. She sees herself as probably the most accident prone on the Lambut Volleyball team. In fact, she has a two year running streak of wearing the big black boot.
This is the twelfth year Moeckel has played competitive volleyball. While playing for Perryville High School she received three defensive awards and the Gatorade Will to Win award. Amy Verseman, a fellow Perryville High School volleyball player, and then a coach at Lambuth, recruited me to play for the Lady Eagles.
Moeckel says: "I come from a very close family and treasure any time I am able to spend with my family and my boyfriend. My teammates, coach and trainer have truly become my family away from home. I know I can count on them on and off the court."
Moeckel is the daughter Keith and Shelley Moeckel.
