Jamie Fields, a freshman, started playing volleyball in 6th grade. She played for Collierville High School
Varsity all four years. She was the first volleyball player at
Collierville to go to the State Tournament all 4 years. During Fields's sophomore
and junior years she was nominated for the Commerical Appeal best of
preps. Her senior year she was named the top 5 best of the Preps finalist and during her junior year was All-District and All-Region. Her senior year she was
All-District, All-Region, and Region MVP. Fields also received the best hitter
award her juunior year for Collierville Volleyball and most outstanding
player for Collierville her senior year. CHS was state runner ups her sophomore year.
Fields says: "I have an older sister who graduated from Lambuth University in 2007. She played Volleyball as well her first 2 years. Since i started playing volleyball i had always said i would play at
the college level. It was the right decision and i thank my coachs and
parents for pushing me to work hard and believe that i can play at this
level."
Fields is the daughter of Jim and Kay Fields.
