Caitlin Brown, a sophomore Accounting Major from Lexington, AL, has played volleyball for 7 years. She was all-county for 4 years, all-area for 3 years, all-region for 3 years, and all-state for 3 years while playing for the Lexington Lady Bears. She went to state with the varsity team 4 years in a row and made it to the final four every year; they were state runner-up Brown's sophomore year. She was also voted best-defensive player of the year her senior year. She played softball for 13 years and was the starting short-stop for the varsity team for 5 years. Brown was voted best-offensive player of the year her junior year and best-defensive player of the year her senior year.
Brown has 2 older brothers who went to Lambuth to play football, baseball, and they were members of the cheerleading squad.
Her oldest brother graduated from Lambuth in 2006 with a degree in communications. He now works for Forever Communications in Jackson. Her older brother attended Lambuth and majored in business and now works in Jackson. Brown's parents work at Graves Metal Products in Jackson. She has one nephew who is 2 years old. Her family moved to Jackson 2 weeks before her freshman year started and have enjoyed every minute.
Brown says: "I am also the biggest Atlanta Braves and University of Alabama fan you will meet and I love the color pink."
