Kati Rutherford has been playing volleyball for seven years. She first began playing as a freshman in high school at Cordova High. She is a Lambuth Hyde Scholar, which is why her team nickname is Hyde. She is the oldest of four children and her younger sister and younger brother also go to Lambuth and play sports.
Rutherford says: "My favorite food is my mom’s spinach lasagna, and I love to watch movies.I have a certified scuba diving license that I got in the scuba diving course taught at Lambuth. When I graduate, I plan on continuing my education towards a job in medicine as a doctor or medical technician."
Rutherford is the daughter of Bob and Kay Rutherford of Cordova, TN.
