Arby Shahmoorad, a freshman Sports Management Major from Storvreta Sweden, says that soccer is his first love and that he hopes to marry it some day.

Shahmoorad played for the IK Sirius youth and junior team in Sweden.  With the team, he won the Swedish Indoor playoffs and placed third in field soccer.  As the senior level, he played Division III with Storvreta IK.  In the summer of 2006, the Football Federation of America (FFA) invited Shahmoorad to train with them for a week, which he says was a fun and good experience.

Shahmoorad says: "My favorite teams are SS Lazio and AC Milan and my favorite players are Diego Armando Maradona and Zlatan Ibrahimovic."

Shahmoorad is the son of Minas Mouradian and Lida Gukacy.
