Josh Balts was born in Nashville and lived there and in Memphis, has lived mainly in Martin, TN.  He is the son of Jack Baltz and Susan Dunbar. Baltz has three sisters, a 20 year old, 16 year old, and an 11 year old. He is a freshman Politcal Science and French Major.

 

Baltz played soccer at Matin-Westview High School where the teammade it to the state tournment his freshman, sophomore, and senior years. He made the all-state team his senoir year.

 

Baltz says: "I usually break it  down into three things that I love: God, People, and French. That’s why I’m majoring in Politcial Science and Ffrench; I figured I could deal with people and French and then of course fit God into both whenever possible. I have a  long term goal of getting my law degree. My dream job would have me in some form of diplomatic service representing a company for French clients, or maybe going into politics. I also really enjoy travelling and have been blessed enough to make it to Japan and France, and I’m definitely working on trying to hit up all the continents…well, maybe not Antarctica."
