After training and competing in the sport of gymnastics for ten years, fresman Amy Pulliam decided to begin playing soccer at the age of 14. In 2003 she joined the Memphis Futbol Club. The team placed 3rd in the State Championship in 2004 and as a result played in the Region III Premier League in 2005. She continued playing club soccer with MFC until completion of high school and was named team captain her senior year.
Pulliam played varsity soccer at White Station High School for four years where she received an award as the “Most Improved Varsity Player” both her sophomore and junior years. She was named team captain her senior year and received the “Coaches Choice Award.” During Pulliam's senior year she scored 9 goals and had 7 assists.
As an honor student at White Station she was a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Latin Club, Film Society, Jaycettes, and Frisbee Team. Pulliam's volunteer work included: TWIGS of Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center ; Great Outdoor Festival by Ducks Unlimited; Lakeshore United Methodist Assembly Camp; and Invisible Children - Team Memphis.
Pulliam says "My parents are Anda and Andy Pulliam and I have one older brother, Adam. I love listening to music, watching movies, playing soccer, and spending time with my friends. I am excited to be a freshman at Lambuth and think it is going to be a great experience."
