Clara Glueck is a junior Sociology major from Houston , Texas . Because cheerleading didn’t go very well for her she decided to start playing soccer in the 3^rd grade. When she began Jr. High Glueck played basketball and ran cross country and track, and she also started playing for a Pursuit soccer club where she played Goalie and Midfield. During her sophomore year of high school she switched clubs to play for Challenge where she was the sweeper for 2 years.

Since she has been at Lambuth University Glueck has played forward but this year she will play defense again. Glueck very dedicated on the soccer field and off. She is very involved with FCA and the religious life at Lambuth. She says her faith has grown so much through religious life and she sees herself as being very blessed to be at Lambuth and to be given such a great opportunity.

After Lambuth she hopes to get her masters of social work and then from there go into some form of Prison Ministry. Glueck says she has a wonderful family back home who is her best supporters on and off the field.

Glueck says: "I enjoy listening to Christian alternative music and to eat! Mainly buffalo wings and pizza but I am definitely a health fanatic. I also love to read and study hard (wisdom is power!). I can do everything through Him who gives me strength. -Philippians 4:13"
