Junior (Sophomore RS) Jessie Matcalf is an Elementary Education major and was born in Memphis, TN on March 17, 1987, but has lived in many places. After Memphis, her family moved to Henderson, KY, then to Cincinnati, OH, then to Kansas City, KS, then finally to Jackson, TN. She has two brothers (Andy-23 and Scott-17), a sister (Beth-22), and a brother-in-law (Brad-22).
Metcalf went to high school at the University School of Jackson. While at USJ, she was all-state 3 years and scored 135 goals. She was also a member of the state runner-up basketball team her senior year. After graduating from USJ, she attended the University of Tennessee at Martin for a year and a half before transferring to Lambuth.
Metcalf attends St. Mary’s Catholic Church and hopes to one day be a teacher. She is the daughter of Jim and Karen Metcalf.
