A native of Meath, Ireland, Duffy enters his second season as head coach of the Lambuth University Lady Eagles women's soccer program. As a player, Duffy played all four seasons ('99-'02) at Lambuth University, where he won the Mid-South Conference as a freshman and later went on to captain the side.
In his last season as a player Lambuth was ranked as high as No. 16 nationally in the NAIA poll. Duffy also served as a student assistant coach at Lambuth for a season after his playing career came to an end.

Coach Duffy graduated from Lambuth University ('03) with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. He then headed to the University of Tennessee at Martin where he earned his Masters degree in Education ('05). While pursuing his master's degree at UTM Duffy was the co-head coach for Westview High School (boy's & girls) soccer teams, where he enjoyed two extremely successful years. The honors included four District Championships & two Region Championships. The boy's team made their first ever trip to the state tournament in '04 and returned again in '05.
Coaching accreditations include the (FAI) Football Association of Ireland "Level 1" & "Youth Coaching Diploma" and the NSCAA National Diploma. (NSCAA Advanced National candidate Jan '07)
Duffy resides in Jackson. He has one brother, Alan, who lives in Navan, Co. Meath. His parents, Bernie, and Gerry Duffy, also reside in Navan, Co. Meath.
