
Youssoupha has become a physical force for Lambuth University. Sene is entering his second year at Lambuth after contributing strongly to a Lambuth team that was ranked as high as #5 in the country. He was named to the TranSouth Academic All Conference team in 2007. Prior to Lambuth, he spent time at Wabash Valley College, where he learned English and took classes that prepared him for his major in Accounting. Sene played his high school basketball at Jean De La Fontaine in Dakar, Senegal. Sene is someone that wants to succeed in life and will do everything he can to achieve his goals. Youssoupha is the son of Mamadou Malick Sene and Nobye Coty Niang.
Youssoupha says, “It is a privilege for me to be a student-athlete at Lambuth, because it gives me the opportunity to focus on my academics and improve my basketball skills. I work hard and leave the rest in God’s hands, he who loves us more than we love ourselves.”
