The 2007-2008 season marks the second year at Lambuth University for senior Dee Preyer. She transferred from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock after her sophomore year. She was a member of Lambuth's first ever National Championship Team last season. She is a Criminal Justice Major with the dreams of becoming an F.B.I agent one day. Her minor is music, because she loves music so much and she has hopes to one day to have her own record label.

 

She attended Memphis Central High School in Memphis, TN and was voted Memphis best of the preps all four years of high school. Preyer was named MVP of her high school team for both her junior and senior seasons. She played in the TAASC all-star game as a senior and also played AAU basketball for nine years with the West Tennessee Running Mustangs. The team was crowned the AAU National champs 16 and under during her sophomore year in high school.

 

Preyer says: "I have a little sister (Natasha “Tah-Tah” Bonner) who is entering her freshman year at Rend lake College in Ina, Ill. She is one of the most important people in my life other than my grandmother and mother. My grandmother is the reason I got into playing basketball in the first place (and God who has blessed me with my ability to play this game). She has always been there for me, and she has made me the woman that I am today. I cant thank them both enough everyday for what they have done for me in my life."
