Melissa Harrison is a sophomore from Christchurch, New Zealand. She is from a family of eleven, all of whom reside in New Zealand except two of her brothers. Her brother Caleb is also at Lambuth working as an assistant coach for the Lambuth Eagles Basketball team.

This will be Harrison's second year at Lambuth University.

Harrison says: "Last year was a very exciting and worthwhile experience, winning the national championship and I look forward to another great season. "
